Agoura Hills (Oct 17, 2007) – AES 2007 in New York City's Javits Center saw the launch of the new distribution partnership between American Music & Sound and Turbosound. Featured on the AM&S booth, Turbosound made a powerful impression on the AES show attendees.
"The AES show was perfectly timed for the announcement of our new distribution plan in the United States," commented Brad Stephens, National Sales Manager for Turbosound. "It was really exciting to see the high level of interest in our brand. Recent product introductions, specifically digital self-powered enclosures from our NuQ and Aspect ranges with onboard DSP and real-time control, have been a hit."
Turbosound's Managing Director, Simon Blackwood stated, "the weather outside was unseasonably hot and so was the action on our stand! We couldn't have been happier with response to the announcement of our partnering with American Music and Sound - this is a true partnership that will deliver long term value to our clients in the US and I'm pleased to confirm that we closed a major deal that will be announced shortly."
"From the Press Conference announcement all the way through the end of the 4th day of the show, Turbosound attracted a considerable amount of attention," said Lynn Martin, President of AM&S. "They did a fantastic job of reconnecting with old customers and generating new customer relationships. This is going to be an amazing year for Turbosound."
Building on the success of the award-winning Aspect® modular point-source loudspeaker system at major festivals and concert tours this summer, the 123rd AES Convention saw Turbosound introducing the TA-500DP self-powered, three-way, full-range loudspeaker with onboard, user-adjustable DSP. Available in both horizontal and vertical orientations, with or without integrated flyware aimed at touring applications, the TA-500DP's patented Polyhorn™ devices ensure seamless arrayability over a tightly focused 50°H x 25°V coverage pattern. Additionally, Turbosound featured the NuQ series of networkable self-powered loudspeakers. Comprising efficient Class-D amplifiers using 96kHz sample rates for pristine audio quality, the NuQ series offers consistently outstanding performance and real-time network control.
